4th, well before the wedding was set to end, they played "hit the road jack." (Not on our list as many other songs I would never play) Many people asked us if this was a hint that they should leave. 3rd, when they finally got people dancing after about 2 hours, they abruptly stopped. And played songs that I would put on a do not playlist. Relatedly, when we sent the playlist he told us that he was able to play almost all of the songs on the list, but as the wedding got closer he told us that he was unable to play a good number of the songs. 2nd, they had trouble sticking with the playlist that he asked from us. ![]() 1st, after the band had played for only about a half hour, they took an extended break for about 45 minutes. There were at least a few issues with the band's performance. ![]() Guests stopped to stare, it was odd, rude and didnt create the mood we wanted, or we think you would want, for the family dancing. 3rd, when it was time for family dancing, Carey was clearly frustrated and over the microphone, repeatedly asked “Is the family here? Let me know when everyone is here” several times in a sharp and harsh tone. All we did was let Carey know that people were having trouble hearing him on the mic and asking to make an announcement ourselves. Also, Carey called the groom's father an a*hole on 2 occasions in front of other guests, including the groom's sister. ![]() Many of our friends have mentioned this incident to us during and after the wedding. 1st, Carey publicly reprimanded the groom's father over the microphone by saying "I have the microphone!" loudly and shooed him away when he asked to use it since guests couldn’t hear him.
